ABOUT US
After the overturning of Roe V Wade, we have all, including me, been asking ourselves how we can help. It came to me that educating the next generation is a powerful political act. Louisiana has some of the highest rates of teen pregnancy and STI transmission rates in the country. How do we fight those numbers? EDUCATION. I and my team are working on raising funds to create, print, and distribute a zine to teens in the greater New Orleans area about Safer Sex practices. This zine will be comprehensive, science-based, and inclusive. The zine will be distributed starting August 15th in time for the start of the 2022-2023 school year. The money will go toward the print and distribution of the zine as well as cover the creation of a website for a digital format and QR code access. We ask for your help in the creation of this powerful and much-needed work.
